Authorization to transfer credits under the agreement between Québec universities. Concordia students who register at other Quebec universities under the authorization to transfer credits (“inter-university registration agreement”) will have their grades transferred to Concordia according to the attached Grade Conversion Tables which have been approved by the Concordia University Senate. Grades transferred will be counted in the student’s Concordia Grade Point Average.

Students may only register in those courses for which they receive prior authorization. Concordia will de-register Inter-University students from courses for which they do not have the appropriate permission.

Permanent Code Requirement
Beginning in September 2000 the Ministry of Education requires all Québec Universities to have a permanent code or code permanent (assigned by the Ministry of Education) for each registered student for whom the University receives funding.

Quebec Provincial Residency
The Québec Ministry of Education, Leisure and Sport (MELS) requires universities to collect additional fees from Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents who enroll in Undergraduate and Graduate programs and who do not qualify as Québec residents under MELS definitions. Students in special exchange programs, undergraduate French Language or Literature programs, and Doctoral programs may be excluded.

French Program Fee Exemption
Students who are not Quebec residents (as determined by the Ministry of Education) are normally required to pay additional differential tuition fees. These additional fees may be waived in whole or in part for students registered in approved French programs or courses.

International Fee Exemptions
Categories of exemption from international differential tuition fees as determined by the Quebec Ministry of Education.
