Requesting a SIMS Account
SIMS (Student Information Management System) accounts are created and maintained by Enrolment Services.
Authorized users will be asked to read and agree to the terms and conditions related to their SIMS account when they login.
If you are representing a faculty or department and wish to request a SIMS account, please contact your faculty representative:
If you do not work for one of the faculties, please ask your immediate supervisor or director to send an
email to
Registrar.officetech@concordia.ca with the information
requested below. Your request will be processed accordingly.
The following information will be needed when your request for an account is sent to Enrolment Services:
For regular users:
The email request must include:
- Full name of the person for whom access is requested
- Title and role of the person for whom access is requested and a brief description of the function that requires said access
- Concordia NetName of the user
- Email address (or supervisor's email address)
- Building and room address
- Desired access level and justification for this access level
- Start and end date for employment/access if access is being requested for a temporary employee
Student Accounts office & BIRKS users:
The email must include:
- Full name of the person for whom access is requested
- Title and role of the person for whom access is requested and a brief description of the function that requires said access
- Concordia NetName of the user
- Email address (or supervisor's email address)
- Desired access level and justification for this access level
- Operator Code
- Start and end date for employment/access if access is being requested for a temporary employee
The Office of the Registrar reserves the right to question the access level being requested if it judges that the requested access level is too extensive given the user's role or position at the university. |
